Genesis Guereque '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Genesis Guereque and I am interested in attending a college with a strong academic background and lacrosse team. I am currently a senior at Salinas High School, CA (c/o 2022) and have a 3.8 GPA. I have played lacrosse throughout all my high schools years and will be playing my last year this spring. I started my first year of lacrosse as a freshman and had been chosen Junior Varsity Captain as a sophomore. Although, during my sophomore year the season was cut short due to Corona, I was not able to exceed in my capabilities that season. 

Upcoming season as a Junior I had the opportunity to play for the Varsity team as a starter. I advanced in my shooting, as well as changing my position from Midfield to Attack. This had me helped me considering I am left-handed. I received more playing time and made better goals. During this season I also had the opportunity to join Alpha Project Science for strength and endurance training for athletes. This had helped me grow the muscle and mobility needed for that season. I also practiced with Bixby Ballers Lax, and worked with Naval Academy (D1) coaches. I hope to continue working with both and hopefully excel in my next upcoming season this spring 2022. This has certainly helped me both physically and mentally, and I hope to bring my persistence and dedication to the next chapter of my life where I pursue my lacrosse goals.
