Playing lacrosse gives me the opportunity to explore new friendships, develop my leadership and team work skills, and be a part of something bigger than myself. I love the feeling when my team pulls off a win, or plays a hard fought game against a good opponent. I like to learn from our losses on how we can better prepare ourselves for the next game.
I am a dedicated athlete and work hard to develop my skills. However when I am not playing lacrosse I am a dancer. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I perform ballet, lyrical and modern dance with a group. Dancing allows me to work on my strength and flexibility in a fun and challenging environment. I believe it also helps me on the lacrosse field with my footwork and focus.
I have dreamed of playing lacrosse in college for years, however I also know I want to find a school that works for me academically and socially.
