Emilee DeGrand '24 Recruiting Profile

Collegiate sports have been a big part of my life for as long as I remember. Living near Yale and Quinnipiac, and having family residing near Dartmouth, has made me want to play at that level since I was very young. I saw the dedication the girls on those teams had, which then inspired me to want to be like them at a young age. My teams and their successes is everything to me. My academic achievements and the achievements I bring to my team are two of the same to me. I want to be part of something bigger than myself and make a notable contribution to my teams and what they accomplish. I aspire to play at the best level I possibly can, and try to bring that out in my teammates. I not only strive to be a better student and athlete, but a better person everyday. I will not settle for anything less than the best and I make sure to show that to my coaches, teammates, family, friends, and myself.
