Winning the Gold Coast Shootout Championship as a first time travel team player was when I first realized just how serious I wanted to get about lacrosse. I practiced everyday, even on the days I had other sports; however, I grew the most as a student-athlete in 2017-2018 when I went from a starter to a bench warmer. This helped me realize just how much harder I would have to work and how I needed to find a team that fit my style better which ultimately led to me switching to a team that would accommodate me better.
I was fortuitous when M&D Lacrosse came to Orlando. With M&D I got a fresh start with new coaches and a different style of play. I improved my stick skills, teamwork, leadership, and got to incorporate my own style of play into the game more the year I moved to M&D. I believe I not only have the talent it takes to compete for a college team, but the leadership, work-ethic, and focus to make an impact on a program. "It doesn't take talent to hustle," (Coach Chris Robinson). As a multi-sport athlete, honor roll student, and leading scorer on my team I know I have what it takes to be a leader.
