Emmalee Forristall '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! 

My name is Emmalee Forristall and I am a Cypress Bay High School student from Weston, Florida. I I have been playing lacrosse for five years and been a part of the varsity team at my school since freshman year. This past year I was named captain of my high school team, which was one of the biggest moments of my high school career. I am a student of the game and love to learn, and I also love to be a good role model and leader for my peers, whether in the classroom or on the field. I am very competitive and have helped lead my team to back to back district finals. Outside of high school, I love to continue my game in the many tournaments offered through my club teams. 

Aside from lacrosse, I enjoy other sports as well. Growing up I was always an ice hockey player, which has made me smarter and tougher. At home,  I am an older sister to my 16 year old brother who has made me who I am today. I always try to be a good role model for him and he always keeps my competitive spirit alive.  At school I consider myself to be an above average student. I am in many AP/AICE programs that are offered at my school and am very involved in the debate program at my school as well. 

In my everyday life, I enjoy hanging out with friends and watching any sports that are on tv.  My family is from Massachusetts,  so there is always some team to root for.  I also help coach the elementary and middle school lacrosse girls on the weekends to help them improve their game and to further the sport.
