Abigail Bienfang '19 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for viewing my profile, I hope you find me to be a good candidate for your program and school and look forward to an opportunity to talk with you.  I live in Hingham Massachusetts where I attend Hingham high school and am a starter on the varsity lacrosse team.

I started playing lacrosse in Hingham playing on the boys team, joining the girls Laxachusetts and town club program when they formed and entered the high school as a freshman playing for both the freshman and JV teams.  I have strong right and left hand stick skills, and a well placed shot with the ability to quickly transitions to defense to slow the clear and try to regain possession.  I think if you have the opportunity to speak with my coaches they would tell you that I am a highly coachable team player.   

I want to play lacrosse at the collegiate level and I'm looking for a school with a student body that is passionate about their community. I'm not sure what I want to major in, but I enjoy math, science, and coaching the youth girls lacrosse program in Hingham. Along with coaching lacrosse on the weekends, I am a referee for the town flag football program which has over 300 participants and in the summer I am a camp counselor. Both are jobs that have provided me a unique perspective as I interact with the parents of the players and my campers.
