I have been playing lacrosse since 5th grade, which was when I first moved to South Hadley. My parents gave me the option to either play lacrosse or softball, and I went with lacrosse not knowing it was going to have such a big impact on my life. I never imagined playing goalie because it looked like a very hard and overwhelming position but when no one would step up to play, I took one for the team to try it out. From that day forward playing lacrosse has brought me many achievements and has made my life better overall. I work very hard in school and I strive to keep my grades up to at least an 85 or above. I manage playing lacrosse in the spring, school work, and work all together and some how I'm able to work through all of it. I'm a very hardworking, kind, caring, and outgoing person on and off the field. I always try to show coaches the best I can be and I'm always willing to help my teammates out no matter what the situation is. I'm kind of shy at first until I get to know people and then I open right up into an individual with an outgoing personality. I strive to also be a leader for my team and for the people around me so they can better themselves in not only lacrosse, but in the real-world. College lacrosse has been a dream of mine since freshmen year and I've been working hard to get to that level someday. I feel like my skill level and dedication in both my athletics and education are going to get me far in the rest of high school and in college when that time comes. I would love to major in kinesiology, it seems like an amazing branch of sports medicine to study at the college level. I want to major in kinesiology because it can open up an array of job opportunities that I would be interested in such as athletic training and physical therapy.
