Hi my name is Emma Duchscherer. I have just finished my freshman year of college. I played at Gardner-Webb University as a midfield flyer. I played mainly attack, while also being the primary draw taker for our team. At the end of our season I finished with 22 goals, 4 assists, and 31 draw controls. I was named Rookie of the Year for my University (which is against all freshman from all teams), and I was named rookie of the year for my team, and have scored the 5th most goals of any freshman in our programs history. I was also nominated for Big South Freshman of the week twice. I am an extremely hard working and always give 110%. I love pushing myself to always get better because there is always something I can learn. I love to help my team in anyway I can and will do anything that is needed of me.
I plan to major in accounting and currently hold a 4.0 GPA. I take my education seriously and held a 4.0 unweighted GPA in high school. In high school I was also involved in Student council, national honor society, DECA, national Spanish honor society, and graduated with honors. In my senior year for lacrosse I was also named All Section Second Team, All conference, All State honorable mention, All-American Academic, team MVP, two year team captain, and was nominated for US lacrosse player of the week. I totaled over 100 goals in my high school career and helped lead my team to its first and second state tournament appearances, finishing 3rd and 4th in state.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to connecting with you.
