I grew up in a family full of athletics. My mom in track, as well as my sister who has gone on to become a professional runner. My dad participating in cross country and a marine for four years. I truly started committing to sports when I was in kindergarten, then begun my seven-year journey through gymnastics up until my seventh-grade year when I decided to quit to play volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. As soon as I played my first game ai knew I had truly fallen in love with the sport.
I have minimal experience, playing two school seasons and being engaged on a club team this summer. Although, what I heard from my coaches when I first started was my ease for picking up tactics and my quick skill development. After the summer of seventh grade, I did not play on a club team, but I picked up right where I left off in the spring of eighth. Within a few practices, I continued to develop and increase my skill. I play right-handed and am near-consistent at switching, I use my natural speed to my advantage and hustle with every part of me, I am also great at strategizing and formulating plans with my teammates whenever in need. I feel as if these are my greatest strengths in the game and which I rely on greatly.
When it comes to school I am a very hard worker. I earn most if not all A's, I participate in extracurricular activities like student council, theatre performances, and visual art clubs. In middle school, in all three years, I seemed to excel in English and Science. They are both subjects I adore, but my freshman year I dearly look forward to starting my focus on debate and hopefully qualify for the school debate team.
I am always told, that I am a person of good character and a passionate girl. Throughout everything I do and everything I participate in, I always hear someone mention my kind spirit, talent, and ambition that I always bring to the table. Whether it's school or lacrosse I put all my dedication into what I love and lacrosse is often what overflows the most.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to consider me, hopefully, I have a future with your team and may have sparked your interest.
Kind Regards,
Lidia R. McReynolds
