My fortunate circumstance of being part of a family heavily involved in girls lacrosse over the past three years has provided me opportunities to be a multi-position lacrosse player who can transition between all positions on a women's lacrosse field. My abilities as a defender and as an attackman are comparable as my knowledge of the game, exceptional field awareness, and field communication skills allow me to be a unique and versatile player whether a Goalie, Cover Point, or Second Home player. I've been an all-season starter for both of my years on Varsity (32 games). I have earned myself MVP honors as both an offensive and defensive player during the 2019 Spring season. I recently completed my 2019 high school season w/only one yellow and zero red cards (18 games). My limited time in the goal cage has also earned myself a moderate 57% average save rate (5 game halves). Currently, I have been nominated to the Northern Nevada High Sierra Lacrosse League as a Nevada State Second-Team Defensive player (results are due June 2019).
There are several other notable points of interest w/in my lacrosse experience such as my Free-Agent tournament play. Tournaments allow me to play lacrosse year-round and experience a variety of coaching styles. I was a three-time NorCal free-agent player for both the High Sierra Avalalnche and 101 Lacrosse clubs in 2018 for specific 7v7 lacrosse play. With the High Sierra Avalanche team, we went undefeated for the All West's 7v7 HS Elite Division Championship, December 2018. Additonally, I continue to stay active in growing the game of girls lacrosse as an Asst. Coach for the Carson Valley's 14U girls team along w/volunteering in my local Douglas County Recreation's Co-Ed "Soft Stick" lacrosse for ages 8-14.
Academically, I average a 3.00-3.25 GPA w/required core classes including a few upgrades for college readiness courses such as foreign language. As a current Sophomore in high school, I'm on an acclerated path in foreign language as I am completing my third year in Spanish. However, I am not participating in any AP courses as part of my path to graduation in 2021. My extra curricular activities include FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), (Future Farmers of America) FFA-4H, and boys/girls lacrosse clubs and Nordic ski club. Outside of my public education experience, I'm also a repeat crew leader for Vacation Bible School and for Douglas County Ski Club groups, 1st grade - 5th grades.
I am well-rounded academically, athletically, and w/in my community on a year-round basis. I am rarely home, and am always open to becoming involved w/new people across many different subject/hobby areas of interest.
