My name is Danielle and I started playing lacrosse with the Auburn girls lacrosse program and with the ULA (Upstate Lacrosse Association) at the age of 6. My dad was a collegiate lacrosse player and bought me a stick so we could start playing catch in the backyard and I was completely hooked. As I developed my skills, I started training with collegiate players such as Kyla Sears (Princeton University 2016-2021), Hannah Powers (Loyola 2016-2019), Molly Wood (Ohio State 2015-2018), Shelby McNeilly (Cornell 2012 -2015) who inspired me to want to excel in the sport and academically. Through the hard work and advanced training, I was able to meet the expectations of the JV and Varsity coaches and after playing JV in my 7th grade year and was pulled up to varsity for sectionals. I have played varsity lacrosse representing Auburn High School ever since. I started playing club lacrosse in 2021 as an attack and Monster Elite Purple 2024 and we are currently (2020-2021) ranked #2 in the nation.
I have also played basketball and JV soccer for the last 2 years. I am an Equestrian and have been riding since I was 5 years old. I am in the top 10 academically, ranked 5th out of 350 students with a 101.1 average and take AP and accelerated classes. In hopes to continue to play at the D1 level, I also would like to study Biology or Biochemical Engineering and work to become a Dermatologist.
