My name is Courtney Scales and I am from Binghamton NY. I want to continue playing lacrosse because the minute I stepped on the field for the first time I was in love with the sport. I couldn't imagine what I would be doing without the life lessons i have learned from this sport. I love working within a team and building bonds.
I have always tried to be someone to encourage my teammates to do their best as well as knowing they have someone to talk to. Athletics and Academics have taught me a lot about myself and some life lessons along the way. I have participated in off season workouts, practices, clinics and teams. Of the 8 years I have played I was attack for 5 years, midfield for 2 and defense for 3 years, overlapping of course. I am very flexible when it comes to positions although I do prefer defense. I am very hard working, have good communication skills and very much a team player.
I am looking to study radiology technology. I would prefer to stay on the East Coast but I am open to anything. I would like a school that would let me focus academically as well.
