I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade with the Police Activity League in my town and have not stopped playing since. Through out my childhood I played many sports but no matter the sport I always wanted to be in goal. The feeling of my adrenaline pumping while in goal and saving shots is like no other.
As a Goalie I try to lead and encourage my team to play hard and do their best. I am always hyping up my team even when I 'm on the other side of the field, the most important thing while playing on the field is the team supporting each other and working together. On my team whether we win or loose, no matter what, we're a team and we're in it together.
In school, I study hard to get everything I can out of my education. I have pushed myself through my academic career with advance classes, AP classes and college courses. Before Covid-19 I volunteered in PALS with the special education department. I am looking forward to returning to that role after Covid. As I am not sure what career I will wind up in, I do know it will be something to do with helping people, whether it be a special education teacher or councilor.
I would like to find a college that will be the best fit for me both academically and physically. Lacrosse is very important to me and it holds many emotions and values, it is my outlet to get away from the everyday.
