Katherine McNamara '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Katherine McNamara, however most people call me Kat. I go to Putnam Valley High School, I am in 10th grade. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in 1st grade and I have loved it since. I was on the Junior Varsity team for 3 years, starting in 7th Grade until 9th grade. I was a starting defender on JV and I was brought up to varsity at the end of 9th grade. In 10th grade I was a starting defender.

In college I hope to major in Pre-med or biology. 

On whatever team I have been a part of I have been able to get all teammates to work together as a team and not individuals. I also try hard to make the best of each situation and pump up my team even in bad times. Even though I love defense I have the skills to control the ball on attack and score when I am needed. I know my high school years will be coming to an end, soon enough. I can't see my life without the sport I love, and want to find the right spot at the right college to continue playing.
