My goal in college as an athlete is to stand out, to be someone of value, full of a team of players who push toward the same achievements. Getting a great education and developing myself to be a well-rounded individual is my main focus. My main academic interests include biology, health, and sports medicine. In college I aspire to build athletes around me, allowing myself to grow, on and off the field.
What makes me an ideal candidate for your team is that I’m capable of humbling myself, allowing my mistakes to be corrected. I have the confidence to strive for excellence and perfection both as an athlete and a student. I was blessed with the opportunity of captaining my high school varsity team who made it to playoffs. I’m able to adequately lead and work with a group of young women to train and fight to become better as a unit. This it the kind of dedication, leadership, and ability that I will bring to your program.
When I commit to something, no matter what, I will not give up until I succeed. I’ll always contribute to my team, from verbal motivation to adding a few goals to the score and assisting my teammates with their goals, I know there's always something that I can do to make my team the best that we can be. I have a drive for excellence like no other and my academics are my top priority. My passion for knowledge will never outweigh my love for lacrosse but I believe that I’m more than capable of being a collegiate student athlete. It’s possible to be both and I’m just the young woman to exhibit that.
