My college goal is to attend a college that allows me to play varsity lacrosse and join a Navy ROTC program. I currently participate in Navy Sea Cadets as a petty officer 3rd class. Sea Cadets is similar to JROTC at high schools. After college, I would like to pursue a commission as an ensign in the medical corps of the States Navy, or a role leading to it. My long-term goal is to become a Navy Flight Surgeon.
I am a good candidate for a college varsity lacrosse team because I am an experienced, smart, tenacious, athletic player. My experience comes from playing club lacrosse for Triumph (MI), Black Swamp (OH), and Team Ohio (NLC) in the Midwest and on the East coast. I love playing defense and ruining offensive player's days by shutting them down. I have also played several other sports when I was younger like wrestling, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. I continue to dive as well, and plan to do so in high school.
I plan to graduate from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, OH with an IB (international baccalaureate) diploma, which will make me well prepared for college academically. I feel that I will be a great addition to any team based on my leadership skills, desire for success, and my strong desire to contribute to any team by doing my assignment. I am willing to do what the coaches ask, without complaint, to make my team successful. I am interested in winning, and not individual recognition.
