Iliana Calcamuggio '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement and review my profile. I am Iliana Calcamuggio and  a 2022 graduate from Sylvania, Ohio, I look forward to finding a school and a team that are a great fit for me. I am both academically and athletically motivated, however my education is my top priority. I currently carry a 4.23 weighted GPA, consider myself a student of the game, a leader on the field and a versatile player. I have played at one time or another in high school; center back, outside back, holding midfield, attacking midfield and center forward. Winning the OHSAA Division 1 District Tournament as a freshman for my high school team and winning the Girls U15 Ohio North State Championship for my club team, in the same school year, are two of my fondest soccer memories and provided those teams and I the opportunity to compete at a high level. My sophomore year was a period of growth, development and greater understanding, as our high school team did not make it through districts and COVID-19 prevented us from playing club soccer in the spring. As a high school student athlete, I have been fortunate enough to receive a high-quality education from Notre Dame Academy, compete as a member of an amazing girls high school soccer program and girls club soccer program at Pacesetter Soccer Club. I would like to find a college program that will allow me the opportunity to compete at the next level in both the classroom and on the pitch. I am confident that I have the determination, dedication, discipline, diversity and direction necessary to be a successful college student athlete. I look forward to continuing to be a leader on and off the pitch, developing new relationships and working towards my future as I continue to play the game of soccer.
