I have always been involved in sports, for as long as I can remember. I started out playing hockey when I was 4 years old, it wasn't until I was about 11 years old that I decided to try lacrosse. My twin brother was playing both field and box lacrosse, and I loved the action to the game. I learned that girls could play lacrosse. I signed up and the season had already started, and I loved the game from the moment I grabbed my first lacrosse stick. I have always been driven in what ever I put my mind to, my education has always been my top priority with sports as my outlet. I have made it my goal to continue my athletics and education at the collegiate level.
I would describe myself as being a hardworking, enthusiastic person at whatever I put my mind to. I am able to balance my school life, with my sports. On the field I would like to say that I am a strong attacker/midfielder. I am able to use my strong hockey defensiveness to my ability not only in my offence play, but also transitioning in the defensive aspect when playing lacrosse.
I am a determined young athlete, but strive to be the best student in the classroom, with a current overall average of 94%. Academics have always played a huge role in my life and are super important to my future. I have never had anything handed to me, and have learned that hard work and perseverance is the key to full filling my goals and ambitions.
