As I enter my last year of middle school, eighth grade, I have started to focus more on preparing myself for high school lacrosse. I will be trying out for varsity lacrosse at Cleveland High School when I arrive there my freshman year, in hopes of making it. I recently joined 3d Oregon, a club lacrosse team, however, I used to play for Lacrosse Northwest Rippers. Although I play at a club level, I do play for my local rec team in the spring, which is where I started my lacrosse journey four years ago. Though I was hesitant when I started lacrosse, I instantly fell in love with the sport. I enjoyed having my friends as my teammates and the team aspect of the sport. Over the years I have experienced ups and downs in this sport but would not regret my decision to start playing lacrosse as it has expanded my mindset as a player in numerous ways and taught me that there is always still much more to learn.
