I have been playing lacrosse for most of my life and for the first couple of years It was just a way to stay active. However, I truly learned who I was as a player when I started playing for Nashvilles No Excuse Travel Team. The girls around me were much more skilled than I was so I was determined to work harder on and off the field to become better. The harder I worked the more I was rewarded. From making a select travel team to being asked to play on a varsity high school team only has a seventh grader.
The feeling of hard work paying off is truly the best feeling in the entire world. I believe if I am recruited I not only offer years of experience but the leadership to drive not only myself but the people around me to work harder every day. Knowing I have these characteristics I have what it takes to be a worthy player on your team.
