I started lacrosse in 4th grade and found an instant love for the sport. In 6th grade, I tried out to be a goalie surprising my coaches with my natural skills and fast hands. Sticking with it, I played summer ball every year and started private goalie lessons, and attended lots of clinics. My freshman year I was the starting varsity goalie, helping my team finish our season undefeated as well as win city and place 3rd in the state. My 2020 season was cut short due to COVID but making up for it this year. Now caption, I guided my team through another undefeated season and being 1st seed in city and going to state again. I not only work with my defense, but it's my job to guide them and put them where I feel is best for each player's skills on the field. I work alongside them to be the best we can together, always communicating and working together. With all the hard work we put into our practice I am happy to say we have the 1# defense in south Texas. I constantly work to improve my skills, even if that means traveling to attend the best goalie camps in the US.
