I am a good candidate for your team because I am a very unselfish player, always looking for a team goal instead of an individual goal. I have been a three season varsity sport player since freshman year, constantly staying fit for each upcoming sport. I run varsity cross country, am a starter on division 1 basketball and have been a starter on varsity lacrosse for past three years. Our lacrosse team won the last two division 2 championships. This year we have moved up to division 1. I love the competition. It makes me work that much harder making me an even better player. I was recently named player of the week after my team beat an undefeated division 1 opponent in an overtime nail biter. I scored three of my five goals in overtime as well as handing out three assists. Today again, I was named top performer of the week in the Burlington Free Press. I racked up a 5 goal,4 assist performance to tally my 100th goal of my career leading our team to victory. Yesterday's game tallied 7 goals,3 assists.
I am a high academic achiever. I am currently enrolled in AP and honor classes. I am on student body government and in the French club. I was a HOBY represent last year and am going to Girls State this summer. My SAT and ACT scores are above average and hold 4.0 + average.
I have just recently been selected to play in the Vermont High School All-Star Lacrosse Game at Middlebury College on June 15th. I was chosen from among the best players in Vermont by a state-wide panel of coaches and lacrosse representatives. I strive and work hard for success. I have three brothers. That says it all. Please consider me for your team. Come see me play!
