Hi, my name is Morgan Kombol. I'm in the Class of 2024 and from Bellingham, Washington.
Since the first time that I played catch with my older sister, I have wanted to play lacrosse at the college level and follow in her footsteps. My goal is to play college lacrosse at the highest level I can. I want to find a college that is the right fit for me in both academics and athletics. Above all, I want to be happy about playing the sport I love.
In the classroom, I am a good student and I work hard for my grade especially now with COVID around. I currently have a GPA of 3.5 and I am taking college prep and Honors level classes. On the field, I play left-hand dominant but with everything else I am right-handed. I guess that makes me kinda different. I am a very versatile athlete as I play lacrosse, basketball, cheer, and volleyball. I also feel that I am very coachable, a team player, make those around me better as I am a positive player, and show my commitment to the game as I live in an area where there are few opportunities for girls lacrosse, so for my practices and games, I travel between an hour two 2 hours.
This past school lacrosse season, with Anacortes Girls Lacrosse, I was named an "All-Conference" Attack player for high school Varsity in the State of Washington for 2021. I was one of only a handful of 9th graders that received that honor.
I currently play on the Vandal Lacrosse travel team out of Seattle Washington. During the Summer of 2021, we participated in the Park City Shootout, Western Shootout, and West Coast Cup. I was even highlighted by Inside Lacrosse for my play in the West Coast Cup. Here is the link: https://tinyurl.com/dja9en4j
Thank you for reading about me and I hope to speak with you soon!
