I believe that I could be an asset to any lacrosse program because I am outgoing, I have good sportsmanship, I am hard-working, I am perseverant, and I am driven. Ever since I began playing lacrosse in 4th grade, I have felt a certain passion for the sport that I had never felt before. When I started playing, it came so naturally to me and immediately I knew that I wanted to continue playing. My current high school coaches coached me during elementary school, and my middle school coach began coaching at my high school my freshman year. I think it has benefitted me and my level of play having consistency in coaching from people who truly care about me and my success. Having the same three coaches throughout my career has also shown me what it means to be a part of a close-knit and trust-oriented team. They have pushed me to be the best player I can be, and continue to push me so that I may continue to improve my skills and become a better player.
Winning a state championship my freshman year and then losing the following year has shown me that there will always be challenges and adversity and that is why we continue to train, even if we feel that we are "in shape" or our stick skills are "good enough".
I believe that lacrosse is equally as important as school work and maintaining good grades. Throughout middle and high school, I have maintained at least a 3.8, and I know that with hard work, I can continue to do so. Because of these qualities, I think that I would be a great addition to any program. Thank you.
