Hi Coaches,
My name is Sarah Baule, I go to Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and I am in the graduating class of 2022. I have been on the Bethesda Chevy Chase Club rowing team for the past 2 years. Last year I was a novice, so this has been my first year on varsity. I was put on the 1V boat for my first race this fall, and stayed on the 1V boat for the rest of the season. This year I was able to PR on my 2k, at the beginning winter season it was 1:59.1, and it dropped to being 1:56.7 by the end of my winter season.
I would love to row in college. There is so much I like about this sport, being on the water, the team aspect, and the competitiveness. I like the idea of going into college and already having a group of people to support me, and being able to continue to do the sport I love. Throughout the rest of my high school career I plan to continue to get stronger and be able to move my boat faster.
