I started rowing in 9th grade. I know rowing in college is a once in a lifetime experience that could positively impact my whole life.
As Captain of the Varsity Team, I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to do their best. I am very coachable and always work hard on and off the water.
In school, I study hard to maintain my GPA. I also participate in Varsity Basketball, Unified Basketball and coach rowing at the local YMCA. During the summer, I am a camp couselor at a local private school.
I want to attend a college where I will be challenged both academically and in rowing. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find a college that is a good fit for both rowing and my studies.
