Madelyn Farber '21 Recruiting Profile

I am incredibly motivated, athletically as well as academically! When I don’t have the opportunity to row for fall and spring crew, I train in the winter by participating in my school's swim team and staying active at the gym.  Besides competing with the team, I enjoy acting as a leader on the team itself by leading runs and other team activities and encouraging others to do their best and try their hardest.  I maintain a solid GPA while challenging myself with honors classes and AP classes. Additionally,  I enjoy creative writing and recently published a book that I sell locally as well as in online formats.  As I look forward to my future, I would love to be part of a collegiate rowing team where I would bring my positive energy and spirit. During my college experience,  I look forward to being part of a learning community that values creativity and enjoys academic discourse, and I hope to have opportunities with different occupations in various disciplines.
