My name is Marissa Paul and I am currently a junior in High School. I began rowing in the summer of 2017 at a rowing camp hosted by my high school. When I started rowing I was first taught how to scull. In my freshman year I rowed in the lightweight varsity quad. My boat won first place at counties, states and then third place at cities. Sophomore year I rowed in the light weight four. Due to weather complications many of our races were cancelled. In my future academic career I hope to study and major in medical science. I would be a great asset to your team because I am very hardworking and cooperative. I am very motivated and always willing to give 110%. What makes me different from other athletes is that I am a very fast learner and never give up without a fight. I work well on a team and individually. I always strive for success either in rowing as well as academics. I don't give up easily and always make sure I accomplish my goals.
