I started rowing in Pelham for PCRA at the beginning of freshman year, 2021. I had just moved from Malaysia that year, and I mainly joined as my cousin told me it was a great way to make friends and join a competitive but close team. I was born in Hong Kong where at 3 months I moved to Long Island. When I was 7, I moved to London where I attended a British Prep School until the end of 5th grade where I played cricket for my school. After I graduated elementary school I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I attended an international school and was introduced to volleyball. I played volleyball throughout middle school and when I moved to Harrison, I played on my school's JV team. For the winter season and part of the spring season of rowing, I balanced both rowing and club volleyball and after the club season of volleyball ended in early March I decided to only focus on rowing. I swapped to Rye in the summer of 2022 and was introduced to a welcoming team culture. I am excited to continue rowing and join another challenging and motivating team.
