My goal in college is to work hard, challenge myself athletically and academically, and enjoy my four years at school. I currently attend St. Anthony's High School, a college prep school that is known for its rigorous programs in athletics and academics. I am a positive influence in everything that I do and always push myself to do my best in both academics and on my team. I am an asset to my team by training hard everyday. I am known by my teammates as being committed and reliable. I challenge myself on a daily basis in many different ways to decrease my times and make myself a better teammate. Before rowing, I enjoyed basketball, softball, and competitive dancing. I had never seen crew before high school, but once I learned about it, I knew it was all I wanted to do. I now row in both spring and fall seasons, as well as participating in a rigorous winter training program with my team. As of now, the highlights of my rowing career are placing third in the State Championships in Saratoga and competing in the Head Of The Charles. I am very excited to row at the college level and to be a major contributor both on the water and in the classroom.
