I started rowing in September 2022, while running on my HS XC team and volunteering as a junior running coach through Girls on the Run. When I moved to varsity after three months as a novice, I decided to focus only on rowing and stopped running with my high school. I am also an alpine race coach at Stratton Mountain (VT) for the U8 and U10 girls on weekends. I love competing and rowing, and I also love motivating and helping others. This past semester (Fall 2023) I went on a study abroad program with Alzar School, taking AP courses and backpacking and whitewater kayaking in Patagonia and in the mountains of Idaho. Luckily, I was able to bring an erg with me to the Idaho portion of the semester, so I kept up with my training and emailed weekly reports to my coaches. In January 2024, I moved to Greenwich Crew. I love my new team and am enjoying the spring season!
