I row during the school year for a smaller team, who is not very strong overall. During summer I row for my club, which is much larger and have very fast boats. I was in the A boat for my club for the past two years that I have done summer. I switch from summer, rowing with my club, to fall rowing for my school and it is a change, but I encourage my school team to be their best and I try to be my best myself. I want to be competitive but I will also work with anyone to get better. I want to improve in every aspect of rowing every year that I row. I am willing to do the hard work that it takes to be fast. Last year I raced a double, as well as other boats, with a senior who then graduated, and now I have been practicing in a single. My coach might enter me to race in the single, racing in other events as well, for Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in the end of October.
