Hello! My name is Ava Lorentzen, and I live on Vashon Island. This year will be my 5th year rowing. Ever since the beginning, I fell in love with what rowing has to offer. It taught me how to be a supportive teammate as well as how to push my comfort zone and challenge my limits. I value a supportive and competitive team where I can be challenge myself as well as be pushed by my teammates. I am fueled by not only my aspirations for the future as an athlete, but by my love of the sport as well. I am excited to find a team that can be my family, where I can share my love for rowing, and ultimately, challenge myself and my teammates to be the best athletes possible. I am a bright and outgoing person, and I think these attributes aid in helping the team become closer and enjoying the many hours we will spend together. Outside of rowing, I love to hike, paint, and ride horses.
