Personal Statement

I want to excel in academics and rowing at the college level. I bring focus and determination to all of my activities.  I enjoy the challenges presented by rowing - pushing through mental barriers on the erg and improving my technique and power on the water.  I take the same approach to school and outside activities.  I take the most challenging classes available to me, such as AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Spanish, AP Psychology, and Physics.  I also lead charitable endeavors outside of the typical school offerings. Balancing rowing, academics and extracurricular activities requires hard work and good time management, but I am most satisfied when I take on new challenges and continue to improve my performance.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
