I have graduated High School and I signed with Banat Girls in Timisoara, Romania
The beautiful game is the sport that I love to watch and play. As a young girl, gymnastics was one of my first sports that I enjoyed thoroughly. However, after 4 years, I had lost interest when I found myself feeling impatient because I had to wait for my turn to perform certain skills. Soccer is a stage of non-stop movement, where I undeniably feel excited and alive. When I step on the pitch, I am driven to win every tackle, header and 1v1 as I focus into the future battle that lies in front of me.
I have been playing soccer for nearly 6 years. My primary position for my youth club team, Edmonton Scottish United is center-back. And for Women’s Major League, which is the highest level of women’s amateur soccer in the province of Alberta - Edmonton Scottish Angels, my position is center-back. I play as a starter for my youth team, the varsity team at Archbishop MacDonald High School and I have been a starter for two matches with Edmonton Scottish Angels. When I am playing, I am very calm, patient and strong in the air and on the ground. I am very quick and accurate with my distribution of the ball. My tackles are clean, I am spatially aware and a very loud communicator on the pitch. As an athlete, I love being put up against players who are of equal or better quality, which brings challenges for me to solve during games and practices. I enjoy seeing myself grow as a leader and teammate. Being able to guide my teammates in a positive manner and easily following instructions from others. A dream of mine is to play at the highest level of soccer possible. I am interested in the study of Psychology and Visual Arts. Academics will always be my first priority, as someone who is a STUDENT - athlete. I have a GPA of 3.60, I am always striving to earn a higher GPA.
