Personal Statement

Update **committed to Trinity Western University starting in the 2024-2025 season.**

Hi coaches,  my name is Ryanna Leskovjan.  I will be graduating in the class of 2024.    I knew since  the age of three years old that I love soccer and I wanted to play soccer and I have been committed to honing my soccer skills and desire to excel ever since.  I have been competing in soccer for over 10 years.

Some of my collegiate/university goals would be playing soccer at the highest level while maintaining good grades academically.    I aspire to play at the highest level of competitive soccer and would like the opportunity to pursue these goals as a high performance athlete.

I am a versatile player and play mainly full-back.   Then in the outdoor season of 2021 to the indoor 2021, I  started playing  winger, forward and midfielder.   However, for this outdoor 2022 season, I am again playing full-back and centre back.  I can adapt very easily and I am very flexible and will go in any position the coach needs me in.

I am very coachable and I adapt very well and am  a quick-learner. I am able to adapt to the situation I am in no matter if it is easy or hard.  Along with these qualities, I am kind, respectful and resilient and no matter the circumstances, I always have perseverance.  The motto I go by is to never give up!  I am always courteous to my coaches and teammates and always like to have a little laugh with them , and with every set back that I may have, I always persevere and come back stronger mentally and physically.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
