Dedication, determination, and discipline. These are the three words that I believe lead to success in both athletics and academics.
Ever since a young age I have always had a passion for sports, and as I began to develop as a serious athlete I began to understand the commitment that it takes to achieve my short term and long term goals. The same principles apply to my academics. Due to my intense training regime from the age of 10, it has enabled me to learn essential skills such as time management, responsibility, leadership, and decisiveness; all of which have attributed in my academic and athletic success. I take pride in every challenge that I do and always strive for success however, I am not perfect and I learn from my mistakes to make myself a more successful individual. Everyday I continue to try and better myself to be able to pursue my passion for pre-medicine and to be able to compete at the collegiate level in both track and field and cross country. As well, I maintain a balanced lifestyle through volunteering as a coach, and working at Edison Badminton Centre.
