Personal Statement

My goal is to compete at the highest level of soccer for women, and after soccer, ultimately work in a sports related field. I am extremely competitive and have tremendous work ethic. What makes me stand out compared to other athletes is my vision/awareness of field to make plays and my all or nothing mentality. I thrive in a competitive environment and I am not afraid to put in the hard work to achieve my goals and do whatever I can to help my team come out on top.  My extroverted personality and love of people makes me a natural born leader both on and off the field. Even when not wearing the captain armband, I have always had a knack for pulling my team together and building a spirit of unity among my teammates. Academically, I hold myself to a high standard. I was homeschooled through ninth grade, which gave me the ability to work independently, have greater flexibility to do more extensive training outside of team practices, and it allowed me to be a self-learner from an early age. These skills have allowed me to thrive and be efficient with my time today, which will prepare me for the intensity that goes along with collegiate level sports. In the end, I love to make life fun. I enjoy dancing with my teammates in the locker room and coming up with funny pre-game handshakes.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
