Freshman year of high school I was given the opportunity to go to the state playoffs. Losing in the first round of the playoffs was something that took me by surprise because it was so different from my experiences playing club. This loss encouraged me to further my skills and become a better leader on the field. Since the age of 5 I have had a love for this sport that I cannot explain, so losing in such a big game and was very eye opening. These small moments have impacted my life and helped me grow as a person on and off the field.
In high school I strive to graduate top 10% of my class and to further my education by playing soccer at the collegiate level. Not only do I want to keep playing the sport that I love, but I also want to grow as a person by balancing school and sports as an adult.
