I've been playing soccer since I was 6 years old and have grown so much through my years of experience. All my years of playing soccer have taught me so much about teamwork and how to not only be a teammate on the field but off the field. It means encouraging your teammates when they're having bad games or practices and being personally invested in their athletic and personal lives. When I was younger I played just for the fun of it but as I got older I realized that I had a talent and that I wanted to pursue a future as a goalkeeper. Although soccer has been a huge part of my life, I haven't let it get in the way of my academics. I've sacrificed much time to improve as a goalkeeper and earn a cumulative GPA of 4.31. If I were on your team I would go the extra mile to better myself and work hard every day. I hope to pursue a career in the engineering field and am really looking forward to my college years to grow my academic and athletic skills.
