I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I started playing in a league with my church, at Grace Church Of Glendora I began playing up top and ended up going all over the field. I played there for a good 6 years. I took about a year off and I then transitioned to GYS, Glendora Youth Soccer and I played for about 3 years. I played striker for a while and i got into playing wing up top. During the time I was playing GYS, Glendora High Girls Soccer tryouts were happening. I tried out and made JV as a freshman. The last preseason game I had broken my left arm, I had to get surgery with a plate and 4 screws. It was a very traumatic and devastating experience. I was out of soccer for 8 months but I still decided to practice with the school team. After the school team I decided to do club soccer. I tried out for SGV Surf and I made it but days after I quickly transitioned to another club team that was based off of the High School, which also had the High School coaches, Foothill Storm and I am now playing defensive mid and playing better than ever. i recently tried out for the high school team again and i made JV as a sophomore and got awarded one of the Captains. I’m very interested in playing at the colliegate level because since i was little, getting a scholarship has been my #1 goal, and i want to continue building my skills and compete in a higher level and make the best of my soccer career.
