Hello from Glendora, California. I am Nicole Gardner, also known as Niki. I have been playing a defender position on Legends FC SGV. I am a type of player that will play their heart out in any position, even if it’s not the position I feel comfortable in. I like to be known on the field so that means I want to talk and direct my teammates to where there is open space or a player coming on. This trait is what led me to be the Captain on my highschool soccer team, even though i didn’t start off the season as captain i showed my coach that i can lead a team with confidence and strive for greatness in all of them. Not only did I play soccer and become the loudest player on the team, but I also played field hockey and directed my team there. During field hockey season i’m able to keep in shape while also playing club soccer. This prepares me for the upcoming high school soccer season which is also right after I end field hockey season meaning i never stop going and always keep working hard. Not only am I a good teammate on the field but i’m also a good classmate in school. I have been able to average above a 3.7 through middle school and highschool. Even though i’m a sophomore I'm taking a junior level math class which makes sure if I'm not able to play college soccer I have an Academic path to fall on. I’m also in a class called avid which is meant to help with grades, colleges, and other things you strive for. This helps me to find who I am and where I can end up in sports or not.
