Soccer has been my life and passion since I was a little kid. I have always had a love for the ball, the grass, and the thrill of the game. As an athlete whose collegiate goal is to be a great addition to your team, I endeavor to be the best I can be and strive for success as I have a hard-working and determined personality, but I believe that having a loose, relaxed, and personable disposition promotes healthy relationships with friends and teammates.
Additionally, I desire to be a leader in any way I can. In soccer that means taking the necessary steps to help my teammates achieve success, but in daily life, to me that means being the bigger, more mature, person and putting personal problems aside for the greater good, for everyone’s good.
Academics is also a priority. For me, it takes precedence over soccer, but my commitment to the things I am involved in would make me a good addition to a college soccer team. My determined nature may title me an over-achiever when it comes to wanting the best grades, but this will prove me valuable as a student athlete who will take athletics and academics with all seriousness and determination. I will not lie, being an over achiever comes with its own set of pros and cons - it’s hard for me to relax and just be okay with “good enough” – but I will put in the necessary effort to balance life as a student athlete as I currently do.
