Ruby Lancaster '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ruby Lancaster, and I’m a senior at Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, CA.  I have been playing club soccer for 9 years, and my current team is Folsom Lake Surf Premier NPL.  I  played mostly as center back for years, and now I also play as defensive midfield. 

I am interested in pursing a career in nursing, because I love helping others, and the healthcare field also has many science classes, which I enjoy.  Academically, I am a strong student with many AP classes, which has taught me the importance of time management.

Aside from soccer and school, I am very passionate about health and fitness.  I currently work at a gym called Lifetime Fitness in the kids daycare.  I love teaching kids how to stay active and have fun without using screen time.
