Getting “The All League Award” as a freshman starter on the Foothill High School Varsity soccer team last year was the most sensational thing to happen to me. Although, I feel like I grew more as a player and as a leader when my travel team did not go as far through the season as we thought we would; That experience has now taught me that it’s not about winning but that it’s about enjoying the sport I love and growing stronger as an individual as well as with my team.
As well as playing soccer for the last 14 years I have been involved in Girl Scouts since Kindergarten. I have completed my silver award and am working on and striving to finish my Gold award before the end of Senior year. I played on the High school golf team this year and was pretty proud of myself for making the top 6 week after week, it was my first time picking up a golf club in my life. One of my biggest loves is MIAP Missing In America project, I have been volunteering with the group for the last four years and hope it's something I can be involved in whichever community I land in.
