Personal Statement

My commitment to my family, faith, academic achievement, future education goals, soccer development, personal athletic and team performance are the most important and motivational things in my life. I've worked hard to establish realistic objectives and accomplish my short and long term goals; to learn and achieve as much as possible to being a successful and responsible member of my community.

I consider my achievement of maintaining a consistent high grade point average (4.65GPA) in a highly academically rated University Preparatory School in Redding, CA at the top of my long term goal achievement list. In my studies and school participation I applied the same disciplines, effort and ethics that I learned in my sports by working hard, caring for my health and learning as much as possible about improving my game.

As an athlete I'm a true student of the game not just a player but always endeavored to understand the strategic, statistical, technical and tactical including becoming a qualified grade 8 referee, learning and being able to apply the rules of the game.

Participation in soccer and track I gained valuable life experiences and worthwhile lessons that apply both on and off the field. Self-Discipline to participate even when hurt; Persistence to continue to learn from coaches and teammates; leading and working with others to improve my performance and be a contributing component as a member of the team.

In soccer and in life, I'm always open to new challenges and won't stop until I've reached my high level of accomplishment in my personal goals, and more importantly by improving my teams performance by helping my team mates both on and off the field.

Becoming a student and player at whatever college that I am blessed to attend I will apply the same work ethic; physical and mental discipline that I have utilized to be successful in my life’s journey and sporting life since I first kicked a soccer ball at 5 years old.  For my team and school I will dedicate myself to being a successful student as an example to others and work just as hard on the soccer field as I do the class room to apply principal’s I’ve learned in sports to be the best player and teammate that I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
