Shae Dougherty '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shae Dougherty. I love soccer, I have been playing since I was 6 years old and I have a true passion for the game. My friends and family might call it an obsession since soccer is all I ever talk about, but it's an important part of my life. I am driven both athletically and academically and I strive to be the best that I can be in school and on the soccer field. I love playing for both my high school team and my club team and I always give my 100% on the field as a player and off the field as a supportive teammate. My teammates are like my sisters, the people I look to when times are hard, the people who get me, who I can talk to in length about soccer without boring to death, the people I know will always be there for me and who I am always there for. I enjoy creating relationships with my coaches and teammates as we share the love of the game. I believe these relationships and connections are a huge part of winning games and playing well together.
