I have been playing soccer since I was five years old with interruptions due to an torn ACL and small tears on my meniscus. I got the injury in 2011 and got the surgery on September 1, 2015. The years between my accident and the surgery I have been in pain and been through physical therapy. I had to wait until I was fully grown to get the surgery. After the surgery I recovered quickly and timely. I have been focused on my physical therapy and have taken it seriously. My knee is fully healed, I'm stronger than before and I am physically, and emotionally stronger than ever before due to getting over the injury and the recovery. This experience has made it even more clear to me that I want to continue to pursue my dream to play soccer and how much I am dedicating myself to pursuing this dream. Ever since I was a kid, I have wanted to always play soccer no matter what and becoming a better player on the field as much as off the field. Not only do I love to play soccer, but I love watching soccer games and learning and studying what players do when they have possession of the ball. I like to make people laugh, have fun, spend time with friends, and most of all do anything that involves soccer. I work hard on and off the field and I always push myself to become better as an athlete and as a student.
