Alex Schuster '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior from San Marino, California and i will graduate in the class 0f 2013.  I have been playing on the Varsity girls soccer team since my freshman year when the team went undefeated in league.  Being captain of my GU18 Gold club team, gives me responsibility and dedication to my sport.  From a very young age i proved my dedication by working harder and proving myself by doing work on my own outside of team practice.  I am 5'7" and 125 pounds.  My size works well with my speed allowing me to make numerous runs upfield as an outside-mid. I have also attended a good number of soccer camps and programs such as IMG Academies, allowing me to improve tremendously as a player.  I realize that soccer is not only a physical game but a mental game as well and I work relentlessly off the field to prepare myself with a game time mentality.  I put the same amount of effort in school as i do soccer.  I hope to attend a four year college with a strong soccer program but also i am looking for schools that have the major I am interested in.  In college i am hoping to major in communications.  I understand that there are many schools out there and with some help i will find the one that works for me.
