Ever since I was born soccer has been all around me. My mom and dad both played and my dad is a professional referee. When I was 7, I began playing soccer competitively. Through playing, I've learned how to deal with competition, conflict and raising teammates' spirits when they need encouragement. I use these skills in everyday life as well.
When I am not playing, I referee soccer. This is a way for me to stay connected to the game and also have the perspective of a referee. I try to find a balance between soccer and school. Grades are very important to me. I enjoy being involved in school activities and leadership. In my free time I like to make videos, babysit, and volunteer at the American Legion. My dream is to play college soccer and pursue a degree in Communications.
